flugfiske_mongoliet2

Mongolia is an exotic and fantastic destination for fly fishing and great nature experiences. Here you can fish with a clear conscience while trying to get fish like Siberian salmon (taimen salmon) or lenok (also a fish in the salmon family) to bite the hook. The camp you live in, your guides and not least the camp’s chefs are an experience in themselves! You live in a tent very close to the river, far away from the main road.

This product meets our requirements for Ecorating, a product that is good for humans and the environment.

The local tour operator we work with has a close relationship with local politicians, environmental organizations and locals. We have a common goal, which is to protect Mongolia’s amazing nature and not least the country’s rivers and water systems. Out of respect for nature, there are only six participants with per. expedition, and the trips are arranged for an extremely limited period of time. Of course, this is “catch and release”, and fishing is done with fishing hooks without barbs. You contribute to the local economic development, and the encounter with this very different culture may give you a different picture of how life can also be lived.
