When you choose to stay at Arctic Retreat, you support small-scale tourism in Swedish Lapland.

Arctic retreat has been recognized by Nature’s Best Sweden which itself has been recognized according to the Global Sustainable Tourism Council’s standard for nature and cultural experiences according to the international criteria for sustainable tourism.
– It is an important milestone that increases the confidence of consumers, nature tourism companies and other stakeholders looking for sustainable alternatives.

The recognition means that the quality mark has undergone a thorough review by GSTC’s experts to ensure that it meets its global standards.

– It is an important quality seal, which means that Nature’s Best Sweden now joins a group of well-known sustainability systems such as EarthCheck, Green Key and Ecotourism Australia, to name a few.

The Naturens Bästa quality label, of which Naturturismföretagen is the principal, has, during the roughly 20 years that it has existed, always been a solid system for nature tourism companies to ensure the quality of their operations.
