Malabar Hill 12

Weligama Bay is a charming beach town on Sri Lanka’s south coast, known for its sandy beaches, surfing and idyllic fishing villages. Just a short tuk-tuk ride from the beach, through paddy fields filled with water buffalo, Malabar Hill rises. Malabar Hill is a luxury resort you won’t want to leave. Beautiful and secluded and a design lover’s dream. A combination of Sri Lankan, Rajasthani and Moroccan influences creates a bohemian atmosphere. The resort has an impressive restaurant pavilion with a 240° view of tropical treetops and the sea. Close by is the 35-metre infinity pool, where four-poster beds invite guests to enjoy the sun with bubbly cocktails in hand. The villas themselves are tucked away along winding garden paths, all with private terraces, a plunge pool and panoramic views. The sublime sense of seclusion is ideal for honeymooners. Enjoy Cordon Bleu-trained chef Roshini’s delicious cuisine, try your hand at cooking classes, yoga and guided bird watching, or head out to explore this very special corner of Sri Lanka’s south coast. Surfers are a short drive from the waves of Weligama, Ahangama and Mirissa. Malabar Hill aims to further your understanding and appreciation of the unique experiences that Sri Lanka has to offer through a guided luxury experience. This is a place you don’t want to miss!
