finska-lappland-

Visit the magical, mythical Lapland and experience the Northern Lights. Finnish Lapland is a land of contrasts, and a real winter adventure. Contrasts are a key factor in what makes this part of Finland so attractive. Here the sun is around the clock in summer, in contrast to pitch-dark winter days, where the sun is often not seen for days. The experience of the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis or aurora borealis) is unique, and this part of Finland offers one of the best places on earth to see this magical light phenomenon. Stay in an Aurora Bubble, try dog sled safaris, scooter safaris, cross country skiing and more!

Good to know about Finnish Lapland:

We’re north of the Arctic Circle, and it’s getting cold here in the winter – but not in the way you might think. This is because the winters are dry and the weather here is rarely windy. Lapland has four different seasons, and temperatures vary accordingly:

Summer(June-August): The temperature is surprisingly slightly different from the average temperature on the European continent. The temperature can rise above + 30 ° with temperatures closer to + 20 ° normally.

Autumn(September-November): In autumn, when the days get shorter, the average temperatures are somewhere between 0 ° C and +10 ° C. In Lapland, the first snowfall usually comes at the end of September, but it is usually not until the end of October that the snow completely covers the ground.
