29I2 Aurland
It is easy to feel the wings of history when you look out over the farm and the hotel.
29 | 2 Aurland is a boutique family-owned hotel in the heart of the Norwegian fjord landscape and has been a beloved spot for anglers for generations and before that all the way back to Viking times. The owners Tone and Björn restored the old historic houses on the farm in 2014 and have created a fantastic hotel with genuine Norwegian hospitality. Here you can hike with a guide to waterfalls, row, paddle and fish during summer or go telemark and dog sledding in the winter. Expect an authentic Norwegian nature adventure.

The owners and staff at 29I2 Aurland are passionate about nature and the future. Their vision is that Fjord Norway will become the green heart of the world’ – so they start with their own. The hotel is eco-certified and has developed its business based on Norwegian ecotourism principles, which means that tourism must protect nature and culture and benefit the local community. They want the carbon footprint to be as small as possible and therefore offer so-called “soft” adventure activities where you can cycle, kayak, hike or ski, but at a slightly slower pace.
They take guests on hikes in the mountains and the surrounding area and tell the story of the people who live here and those who lived in the place before them.
