The best beach in the area is  Pantai pasir putih or White sand beach which is one of Bali’s best kept secrets. Here you will find clear water and it is perfect for snorkeling. The beach is about 15 minutes by car from Jasri Bay.

Local shops and restaurants called warungs, which usually specialize in just one local dish, can be found in Jasri, the small village within walking distance. There are many places to visit during the day, and for those looking for nightlife, Candidasa is a 10-15 minute drive away.Mount Agung ligger inte heller långt bort och är ett heligt balinesiskt landmärke och är hem för ett av Balis viktigaste tempel, Pura Besakih. Good to know about Bali:

Travel Ethics:  Bali is in Indonesia and is mostly Hindu and it is customary to take off your shoes when visiting temples.

Visa:  Visa is no longer required upon arrival in Bali. To travel to Bali, a province in Indonesia, you no longer need a visa if you are a Swedish citizen. However, this only applies if you are traveling as a tourist and plan to stay in the country for less than 30 days. If you want to stay longer than that, however, a visa is required.

Time zone:  GMT + 8h.

Pack:  Swimwear, sunglasses, sun hat, sunscreen.

Local Currency:  Indonesian Rupee.

Weather:  Weather Bali

Jasri Bay Hideaway erbjuder lokalt odlade, ekologiska produkter från sina egna grönsaksträdgårdar och lokalsamhället. Deras vilda hibiskusjuice är gjord av rosellablommor som odlas på egendomen. Ekologiska ägg och fågel kommer från lokalsamhället, fisk och räkor köps från lokala fiskare varje morgon. Man odlar vårt eget bruna ris, gör sin egen granola och serverar hembakade pajer och kakor efter familjerecept.

Personalen är lokalanställda och kommer från närliggande byar.
